It’s Fuel Good Day! Today, Co-op invites members and customers to fill up at any participating local Co-op gas bar in support of this annual initiative. This year marks a significant milestone as Fuel Good Day celebrates ten years of giving back to local organizations across Western Canada.
As always, Fuel Good Day will see participating Co-ops donate a minimum of five cents per litre of fuel sold to local registered charities or non-profit organizations in their community or respective trading area.
“We’re so grateful to be celebrating ten years of Fuel Good Day,” said Heather Ryan, FCL CEO. “Fuel Good Day is a testament to the kindness of Co-op members and customers across the Co-operative Retailing System. For a decade, they’ve generously showed up and helped fuel their community, simply by fuelling their vehicles.”
Since 2017, Fuel Good Day has raised more than $5.6 million, benefitting thousands of organizations in local communities across Western Canada. Last year, Fuel Good Day resulted in a record-breaking $795,000 raised.
