Nathan Holowaty

Nathan Holowaty of Saskatoon, SK, was first elected to the Board of FCL in 2025. He is one of the directors elected by District 4 which is comprised of 38 member co-ops in Saskatchewan. Nathan has primary responsibility for 12 member co-ops and is a representative to The Co-operators for Saskatchewan.

As an FCL Director, Nathan is a member of the Sustainability Committee.

Nathan was a member of the Saskatoon Co-op Board of Directors for nearly 9 years, serving as the chair of the Audit and Finance Committee.

Nathan's education includes a B.A. in Political Studies from the University of Saskatchewan and a PRK Certificate from the Canadian Public Relations Society. Nathan has completed all three levels of FCL's Director Development Program and holds the Co-opDirector.D designation.

Nathan works with the Federal Government, currently in a position with Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada, where he's been working as a Program Assistant for IRCC since 2022.

For the last few years, Nathan has been writing a monthly newsletter for a law firm specializing in digital currency compliance law. He enjoys following emerging technology and financial trends along with regulatory news in the digital currency industry for the law firm he works for.

Nathan enjoys writing and digital content creation, which he's done for several different websites, including his own soccer blog site topworldfootball.com. Nathan has been involved in the local soccer community for many years and is part of a dedicated group of soccer enthusiasts aiming to bring professional soccer to Saskatchewan. Nathan still likes to play soccer regularly in the Saskatoon adult soccer league where he is from.
